Cardamom essential oil is an oil that is often overlooked for its gentleness and benefits. It actually comes from the ginger family. Many know the name from cooking. In fact, truth be told, this oil smells like a home cooked meal. A nice spice for cooking; an even nicer oil for wellness!
It is generally recommended that children stay away from Eucalyptus and Peppermint Oils because they are both strong and can be dangerous when used at a young age. That being said, Cardamom makes a great replacement. As always, we suggest diluting your essential oils with a carrier oil such as grape seed oil or jojoba oil.
Here are some great uses for Cardamom:
Instructions on Use:
You can use it internally as part of your daily health regimen to support healthy gastrointestinal function; however we recommend speaking to your doctor before taking any essential oils internally.
Note: Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Keep away from children. Do not take internally unless your doctor has given your approval to do so.
Lavender Cardamom Blend:
Mix all together well. Great conditioner for hair.
