Back to School? Essential Oils can help you get on track!

September is around the corner ... and that means so is back to school.  Back to school normally invokes visions of pencils, scissors, glue, books and binders.  New runners.  New clothes.  New friends.  New teacher. Do we ever think of what our kids are feeling?

To make it easy for you, we have compiled a list of 4 essential oils that are absolutely mandatory for this time of year.

Help Concentrating

Peppermint or Rosemary Essential oils are great for providing clarity and allow us to concentrate.  Use:  apply to back of the neck, on the temples and on the soles of the feet.

Confidence and Self-Esteem

Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood oils have properties that promote confidence and a higher self-esteem.  Use:  apply to the bottom of feet, to the throat, wrists, chest and neck.  

Back to school blahs

Bergamot and Lime essential oils are known for their uplifting properties.  Many kids feel sad about going back to school after a wonderful summer vacation.  Use:  add 10 drops to your diffuser.


Orange essential oil will get your motivation moving and lessen your fatigue.  Try mixing with peppermint for an extra boost!  Use:  add 10 drops to your diffuser.  You can also apply to the wrists, neck and temples.

If you are planning on applying any essential oils topically, always make sure to dilute in a carrier oil such as jojoba oil, grape seed oil or coconut oil.  Never ingest essential oils and never allow children to use without adult supervision.
